OrbusNeich Expands IVUS Collaboration with SonoScape to Indonesia

(“SonoScape”) to introduce intravascular ultrasound (“IVUS”) systems to the Indonesian market through its local subsidiary, PT Revass Utama Medika (“PT Revass”).

Building on the successful distribution of SonoScape’s IVUS products across key APAC and European markets, the expansion of this strategic collaboration leverages PT Revass’ extensive hospital network in Indonesia, technical capabilities, and knowledge of local clinical and reimbursement dynamics to drive the adoption of two key solutions – CU-S037014, a premium IVUS catheter delivering top-tier performance, and TJ004, a more affordable yet high-performing alternative – across both top-tier and community healthcare facilities.

Indonesia is a high-growth, severely under-penetrated IVUS market. PCI volume is set to rise from approximately 89,600 in 2024 to approximately 189,000 by 2030, with complex cases accounting for 30% of procedures. Meanwhile, the current adoption is concentrated in less than 50 Type A hospitals, while approximately 300 Type B hospitals are largely untapped, indicating that the addressable base could expand sixfold. At the same time, amid 18–20% annual volume growth, there is an opportunity for OrbusNeich’s partnership with SonoScape to offer suitable IVUS solutions with differentiated pricing, allowing more precise matching of products to patients’ varying economic needs.

OrbusNeich and SonoScape first established their collaboration in Hong Kong and Macau in late 2024. The partnership was further expanded across the APAC and European markets in 2025, including direct-sales regions such as Singapore, Malaysia, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and selected distributor markets. In FY2025, such IVUS products generated initial sales in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Germany, and Spain.
