Ltd. has announced that the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted clearance for the JADE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 0.014\u201d, 0.018\u201d and 0.035\u201d OTW non-compliant peripheral balloon dilatation catheter series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JADE Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) OTW Balloon Dilatation Catheter is an over-the-wire balloon catheter for Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty in the peripheral vasculature, including obstructed native arteries and synthetic arteriovenous dialysis fistulae, as well as for post-dilatation of balloon expandable and self-expanding stents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JADE OTW is a non-compliant balloon designed for high pressure tolerance and balloon dilatation with even pressure distribution for the treatment of complex lesions.&nbsp; The series comes in both Rapid Exchange (RX) and Over-The-Wire (OTW) systems compatible with standard 0.014\u201d, 0.018\u201d and 0.035\u201d guidewires, and with catheter working lengths ranging from 135 cm to 150 cm and balloon working lengths from 20 mm to 200 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to expand our JADE peripheral interventions portfolio from 0.014\u201d rapid exchange to include the over-the-wire series\u201d said David Chien, OrbusNeich\u2019s CEO. \u201cWe are committed to delivering innovative products that can change the lives of patients and their families around the world.
