Coronary Orbital Atherectomy System

The Smart Solution for
complex PCI Patients

Manufactured by:

System Overview

Diamondback 360 Coronary Orbital Atherectomy System (OAS) reduces severe calcium, enabling successful stent delivery to help optimize stent expansion and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) outcomes.

Classic Crown

The Diamondback 360 Coronary OAS utilizes a 1.25 mm eccentrically mounted diamond-coated crown.

  • Reduces severe calcium and allows the healthy tissue to flex away
  • Provides bi-directional sanding
  • Creates minuscule particulates (most smaller than a red blood cell)

GlideAssist is an innovative solution that allows for tracking, easier removal and smoother repositioning of the device-especially in challenging anatomies.

Accessories

OAS Pump

The OAS pump mounts directly onto an I.V. Pole and provides power and the pumping mechanism for the Diamondback 360 Orbital Atherectomy Systems.

ViperSlide Lubricant

ViperSlide is an exclusive lubricant for use with CSI’s Orbital Atherectomy Systems. Viperslide increases the lubricity, therefore reducing friction between the device shaft and the ViperWire Advance guide wire.

ViperWire Advance and ViperWire Advance with Flex Tip Peripheral Guide Wires

ViperWire Advance and ViperWire Advance with Flex Tip Coronary Guide Wires are designed specifically for the Diamondback 360 Coronary Orbital Atherectomy Systems to facilitate proper device placement with the artery to enable orbital gain during treatment.

Mechanism of Action

Orbiting, Bi-directional, Diamond-coated Crown

  • Single, 6 FR, 1.25 mm crown treats 2.5 – 4.0 mm vessels1.2*
    • Eccentrically mounted crown sands hard plaque and deliver pulsatile force°
    • Healthy, elastic tissues flexes away from crown minimize vessel damage
  • Continuous flow reduces risk of thermal injury during treatment, minimizing heat damage, slow flow and subsequent need for revascularization2
  • With Diamondback 360 Coronary Orbital Atherectomy devices we can safely sand the intimal calcium with particulate size 2μm – which is smaller than a capillary vessel

1 Based on minimum reference vessel diameter as determined by orbit  testing in a carbon block model system
